About the Artist
I am a North West based artist who combines a love of wildlife, conservation and the natural world to create art and mosaics at my home in Northwich, Cheshire.
Art has enabled me to find my place in the world and overcome some of the challenges related to my Autism. I enjoy working in a variety of media and techniques, from acrylics, oil paints, watercolours and pastels, to ceramics and mosaics.
I have a large-scale piece of work on permanent display in Weaver Square, Northwich as part of the Visual Arts Cheshire exhibition of local artists. I also have a large-scale mosiac piece of the Vernon Crest on display at Davenham Garden as part of the Northwich Timeline Project of local mosaic artists. You can find me on Facebook @tomhillierart and @Tom Hillier. I also regularly post reels to Instagram @tomhillierart where you will see me creating my art.
I am a member of the Weaver Vale Art Society and exhibit regularly with Visual Arts Cheshire at the VAC Gallery at Barons Quay, Northwich, Cheshire.
